Introduction
This assignment e
nclosed with a brief description of challenging behaviour and its principles in the context of a given scenario. The discussion includes a clear conception of challenging behaviour and focus on to discuss the difference between form and the function of challenging behaviour by using the example of a case study. Similarly, it also encloses the demonstration of behaviourist principles to execute the assessment of challenging behaviour. However, the assignment ends with a frame of a multi-level behaviour management model for a better understanding of learners that they can point out the basic requirements that needed for the implication of that strategy.
Description of challenging behaviour and difference between the form and function of challenging behaviour
The term challenging behaviour should attempt descriptively but should never assume it as a diagnostic term. A teacher should always observe the behaviour of children but should never judge over it as children should not challenge for teaches. The teacher should always focus and observing attitude towards the behaviour of their students that they can understand the changing attitude of their students. However, it is a clear conception that describes the challenging behavioural approach. Teachers should aim to include several types of the behavioural approach of children that they can compare and come to the juridical position. Regarding the case study, the behaviour of Darvesh became the challenging factor for Mrs Mkhize as Darvesh started to use slang words in the classroom and playground that affect other children.
Similarly, his class teacher also observed that he used to pinch to his classmates and that affect the classroom environment. As suggested by Zlomke, Jeter and Murp (2017), the behaviour of Darvesh becomes describe and measured by his class teacher Mrs Mkhizes that he used slang languages there in a day. The learning disability of Darvesh significantly recognised by his class teacher and she also observes the changing behavioural approach due to this disability of Darbesh. In this context, the teacher should consider as the role of guardian and should observe the basic problems of Devesh that creates an obstacle in the way of his learning. According to McLeod et al. (2017), therefore, the teacher should take him as a descriptive way that his behavioural approach can be measurable and identify. However, it helps the teacher to decide according to his learning requirements.
There form and the function of challenging behaviour is different from each other as it reflects different sources of knowledge. The form of challenging behaviour stands on the disabilities of learning assessment that can be an obstacle for students. It observed that students often have approach different behaviour than other students due to their disabilities and that become the challenging issue for teachers and parents. Students may aggressive, violent and have the missing attribute of cooperation in the classroom or playground. According to Crone et al. (2015), the function of teachers should be more describable and polite for those challenging behaviour that they can teach them a lesson with efficiency. However, the teacher should hold her in the palace of those children and review them what should be their approach towards the challenging behaviour and what should they simply avoid to provide them with a suitable lesson. For example, Mrs Mkhize should pay more attention to observe the changing behaviour of Darvesh that she can get the resolution to solve out the problems that affect his learning aptitude. The prior function of the teacher should identify the basic demands of the student that make him for changing behaviour. Opined by Heess et al....
