Hi, I would like to request for more information before I decide on whether sign up with the help.My programming language is R and my project involves 3 main components:
1: Obtaining data with webscaping/APIs* retrieving data from APIs that were covered in the module* new APIs that have a similar R access pipeline* obtaining data through custom-made webscraping scripts2: Using and analysing text data* modelling texts through linguistic representations* processing + cleaning texts for further analysis* using text metrics to compare groups/clusters of texts3: Applying machine learning models* building predictive models (supervised machine learning)* applying clustering methods (unsupervised machine learning)
My idea is to use API to obtain tweets sent by Trump from the day he was president on November 8 2016 - November 8 2018.Following which, to filter the tweets that contain information about public companies that are listed on the stock market.Then to carry out a dynamic sentiment analysis to analyse the tweetsThen to use web scrapping to obtain the respective stock prices change of the S&P500 from Yahoo finance of the days that the tweets occurred onThen to create a predictive machine learning model to predict how much the market would drop based on certain words that Trump tweets.
Is this feasible? How much would it cost and where are you guys based in?
