You will use evaluation software and a virtual platform, like Hyper-V, Virtual Box, VM Player or the like to complete this task. Ensure you platform has sufficient tools to set up this scenario. You must configure the following components on virtual machines: a. Set up your domain controllers and Virtual networks for sites. b. Directory Structure – Including: i. Sites ii. ESXi
This is a VMware product formerly known as ESX (Elastic sky X) and called as VMvisor but later it is changed into ESXi where “i” denotes “integrated”. It is an enterprise-class and a type-1 hypervisor to deploy and serve remote computer virtually. ESXi has a integrates very important operating system components like the kernel. Most of the virtualization software applications were installed in an operating system.
The special thing about ESXi is it has own kernel i.e. it can run without the use of the operating system to run. This is a VMkernel component and it has 3 interfaces namely hardware, guest system and console OS (service console).
Hardware
VMkernel holds and handles directly the CPU and memory. This uses a separate method for both CPU and memory where scan before execution (SBE) will scan the instructions privileged CPU and system resource allocation to track all the memory usage.
Accessing network and storage hardware using modules and to use and access this uses vmklinux implements to all the Linux module interfaces.
Console OS
Mostly uses a bootstrap for kernel and management interface. These are the console operating system functions were used in new VMware to ESXi model. Service console in the kernel will allow the operating system to interact with ESX and allows the VM to run on the server.
Guest system
A single physical server has multiple VM’s and each virtual machine has its own many guest operating system. These guest OS can run in Linux and windows.
Virtual Box
This Virtual box from Oracle, a cross-platform virtualization application used to access the remote system. This is used as a guest operating system that can run in any virtual environment. This virtual application was used earlier as an open source software package and later Oracle took this virtual box and named it as Oracle VM.
The vital role of the virtual box is that it can expand its capabilities on the existing system which can allow running in multiple operating systems simultaneously.

This is a resource that has a resource environment where in a VirtualBox a guest operating system can run.

It has a special software package in the Oracle virtual machine that is installed inside the VirtualBox to increase the performance.
Hyper V
This is a hardware product by Microsoft, hardware virtualization that runs on a virtual machine. All these VMs are a complete system with operating system and programs, gives additional flexibility. This Hyper-V allows running different and multiple virtual machines from single hardware simultaneously.
