Hi, For this assessment we are required to write a curriculum program model in early childhood education. I have selected 'Reggio Emilia' as my program model. I would like to you write the 1) goals and outcome of this program model and 2)Position of play. Please write about 250 words each.I have attached my subject guide below. Goals and outcome of Reggio Emilia
The Reggio method aims to educate students how to employ symbolic languages (such as theatre, painting, and sculpture) in everyday situations. In this concept, the children are seen as the driving force. They are admired for being powerful, competent, and tough, as well as being full of curiosity and wisdom (Edwards, & Gandini, 2018). Their learning is guided by these similar qualities. Children gain information as a result of their natural curiosity and inventiveness.
The Reggio Emilia Approach follows a project-based approach that is directed by the children. It focuses on hands-on exploration learning, which helps children to learn using all of their senses and languages.
