hey please just answer one of the following questions and indicate which one youve chosen only need 250 -350 words
Please respond to at least one question, or feel free to make up your own question and respond to it:
1. Why is objectivity not one of the major factors that defines good intelligence? Doesn't good intelligence have to be objective?
2.As Lowenthal describes, “Analysis is much more than sitting down with the collected material, sifting and sorting it, and coming up with a brilliant piece of prose that makes sense of it all. Major decisions have to be made in the analytical process” (page 150). Given that intelligence is much more than uncovering truths or simply reflecting reality, can any analyst or the intelligence products that they produce ever truly be objective? Is it potentially dangerous to label intelligence as “objective” as this obscures the ways in which this knowledge is actively constructed?
3. There are clear benefits to"analyst agility"; what might some of the cons be, and how might those outweigh the benefits?
4. What is the difference between analytical and collection stovepipes, and how do these stovepipes affect analysis and collection respectively?
5. Respond to the article posted in the slides, also here:
