Herzberg's two-factor theory of mot
ivation is a theory of motivation that distinguishes between two categories of elements that affect employee motivation and pleasure at work. These elements are referred to as hygiene elements and motivators. The bare minimums that staff members require in their working environment to avoid unhappiness are referred to as hygiene considerations. Salary, job security, working conditions, corporate rules, and supervision are a few examples of these variables (Siruri & Cheche, 2021). Employees are likely to feel unsatisfied and demotivated if these conditions are not met. However, motivators are what genuinely influence employee motivation and satisfaction. These elements include things like success, acknowledgement, accountability, personal development, and professional happiness. Employees are more likely to feel motivated and pleased at work when these conditions are met.
As an HR manager at a modern company, my main objective in creating a salary and benefits package would be to draw in and keep the best personnel in the sector (Alrawahi et al., 2020).
