Difference in Chinese and Western Parental m

According to the given article of Chua (2011), there are basically three differences
between the parental mind-sets of Chinese and Western mothers. Chinese mother raises the
stereotyping successful kids and they direct their children very carefully. On the other hand,
western parents are conscious about the self-esteem of their children. Firstly, western parents
afraid that what their children would feel, if they fail at something. They also ensure the health of
their children by conducting the medical test. On the other hand, Chinese mother behaves totally
different and they direct their children with will power by assuming strength not fragility.
Secondly, after sometime, Chinese parents do not take the responsibility of their children.
Children have to own their parents and take all the responsibilities of their parents. It is because
the parents have sacrificed everything and done so much for their children. Therefore, Chinese
children have to spend their lives by repaying to their parents in terms of obeying and making
them proud. On the other hand, Western children do not have the responsibility to own their
parents (Chua, 2011). Parents are responsible for the well-being of their children and they have
to duty for their own...
