Hello, I was wondering if an expert could help me out with a research paper for my material science class. The topic for this assignment is about steel and how it is important in the manufacturing industry, especially in how it helps with submarines. RESEARCH PAPER GUIDELINES: Everyone should have by now an approved material’s topic for their research paper. Some points on the paper:  Paper should be research-based. It does NOT need to follow any MLA / APA research paper formatting. It should be written as an executive summary, highlighting the main points in a fairly concise manner. While there is no set formatting requirement, all citations should be declared with appropriate sources. Additionally, please include all sources (books, websites, video streams, experts interviewed etc.) that you referenced so that your classmates can explore some more if interested.  Paper should be 1 to 2 typed pages. Use 12 point font, 1 inch margins, and double spaced/ paragraph form. This length does NOT include research citations / references.  Paper should be saved/posted in the RESEARCH PAPER DISCUSSION BOARD for your classmates to review.  Paper should be written in Word document format.  I suggest reading your classmates’ papers and printing them out as a handy reference portfolio on a diverse array of material science topics for future use. Feel free to begin discussion threads in the Research Paper Discussion link on any paper you read that strikes an interest to you (just like the weekly discussion topics I post). I will be reviewing these postings from classmates and assigning bonus points to student’s Participation grade based on the quality of comments, dialogue, and/ or expansion of topic(s).  Good luck.

Steel is highly used in the manufacturing business due to its unique qualities that make it perfect for a variety of applications. Steel has shown to be a stable and durable material that has played an important part in constructing contemporary society, from construction to transportation. Steel is used in the construction of submarines, which is one of its most important applications. Submarines operate in some of the toughest conditions on the planet, necessitating the use of materials capable of withstanding severe pressure and corrosion. Steel has these characteristics, making it an excellent material for submarine construction. In this research paper, we will look at the steel qualities that make it suited for use in submarines, the steel production process for submarines, the different applications of steel in submarine design, and improvements in steel technology.
Properties of Steel
Steel has various qualities that make it an excellent material for submarines. To begin with, steel is recognized for its extraordinary strength and endurance, allowing it to survive the immense pressure of the deep sea. Steel is also corrosion resistant, which is crucial for any material that may be exposed to seawater. Steel is also lightweight and simple to weld, making it an excellent material for building and maintaining submarines.
These steel qualities are often used in underwater construction. The submarine's hull, for example, requires a material that can bear extreme pressure and prevent corrosion. Steel fits both of these criteria, making it an excellent choice for the hull. Moreover, the pressure hull, which is the major structure that resists deep sea pressure, is built of steel for the same reasons.
