The first health image illustration depicts a 3D graphical presentation of a measles virus, which is a spherical-shaped particle encrusted with glycoprotein tubercles. The tubercular cleats coloured maroon portray hemagglutinin (H-proteins), while those coloured grey reflect ((fusion) F-proteins). The F-protein is in charge of viral membrane fusion, hemolysis, and viral penetration. The H-protein is in charge of viral cell binding.
