Health care is changing rapidly around the world, as communities and populations deal with global challenges such as climate change, natural disasters, political unrest and war. Hence, the role of the nurse is advancing, and this requires nurses to understand how their roles will evolve over the coming years and decades. In this assessment, students will be required to explain how nurses can participate in community engagement through partnerships with stakeholders to meet the diverse health and well-being needs of communities and/or populations. For this assessment item you will have the choice of examining a health issue in the Australian or global context.
