The research topic titled “Health and safety at workplace, a case study of Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University” explores the rights and responsibilities of employees within the working environment of the selected university. Especial emphasis is also given on various challenges related to workplace health and safety. Theoretical underpinnings of the literature review section are attained through effective utilization of secondary dada sources. In the era of industrialization, an employee spends most of the time of a day in his or her workplace. Under this situation, the most important thing from the perspective of an employee and employer would be a healthy and safe workplace so that the outcome can be procured without any hazard.    The main issue regarding health could be infectious diseases, which can spread very quickly (Andel, Hutchinson and Spector, 2015). Safety is a huge concern for every individual as well as the corporations or universities. The need of health and safety is the most important thing to avoid any conflict or diseases as people from different age group comes together here.
