Title: Scarcity of healthcare workers in the hospitals in USA.
Introduction
There is a tremendous lack of manpower in the USA in the field of nursing, and healthcare and also a lack of the availability of physicians in various hospitals. The requirement for nurses in various hospitals is increasing day by day in various hospitals in the USA. The major factors causing a lack of nursing staff in the hospitals are tremendous stress, work pressure, and humiliation faced while working. There is a need to spread awareness among nurses about the significance of attaining the skills, precision, and knowledge related to the nursing field while taking care of patients (Haddad et al., 2022). Further, there is a need to bring in a new workforce of potential nursing healthcare members as many nurses are old in the hospitals and above the age of 50 years (Haddad et al., 2022).
Theory
           The area of concern is the patient to a nurse number in a hospital. In many hospitals in the USA, there are more patients and a lesser number of nurses leading to stress and anxiety among the nurses. Further, the increasing work pressure causes many nurses to withdraw from their nursing careers (Haddad et al., 2022). Thus there should be an appropriate ratio of the nurses and the patients in a hospital setting. 
The legislation (federal) should make it mandatory that every hospital should have a good and required number of nurse healthcare staff to support the needs and the requirements of the patients. Taking it (policy implementation) into account the legislation senate in the USA has passed the Healthcare workforce bill to fill the vacant slot of the healthcare staff in clinical settings and hospitals in the USA (Lewis PC, 2021). The issue of adjusting the ratio of the patients with the healthcare nurses is important to fit the gap and prevent the death of the patients prematurely in a hospital.
