What are your expectations?-Identify the book’s thesis. Every book, regardless of topic, will have a thesis that tells the reader what the book is about.-Identify the author’s position. Every author has a different take on the topic they write. A book about the civil war is not just a book of the civil war. Every author will attempt to argue a specific point.II.Body-Summarize the main points of the book. This section will closely resemble a traditional book report.-Analysis.
