Executive Summary 
 In the United States history of Water polluting incidents, The Gulf of Spill is recognized 
as the hardest and the worst spill. Sinking and explosion of deep water has killed eleven people.  
The cameras which were presented in the remote underwater has released the facts that the 
leakage of gas and oil on the floor of ocean. It should be capped immediately but due to the 
process it took almost eight seven days and by the time “4.9 million barrels of oil” was into the 
Gulf. (Allen, 2012)
British Petroleum 
BP's efforts in positioning itself as a very sustainable energy organization have been 
considered the red rag to a bull for public. It has been pointed out by the public and critics that 
BP's claim which says it to be a global leader in the production of natural gas as the cleanest 
burning fossil fuel (natural gas) which is an incremental growth over oil at best, and a deviation 
which is from getting away of fossil fuels. BP also claims that they had been co-opted the 
language of the environmentalists without being actually committed to deliver.  
In 2006 Campaigners have also named BP as one of the "top ten worst corporations" after 
the Prudhoe Bay oil spill. BP should realize the importance of environmental challenges being

It has been said in Forbes by Allen in 2012 that “Ironically, it has probably been more 
successful repairing the Gulf Coast than rebuilding its brand image.” As a marketing executive in 
BP it should improve its brand image by serving to the society and accepting the challenge of 
environmental issues like many other companies have adapted. Its impact on financial figures 
would be less as compared to its effect on its brand image which consequently gets an extended 
support from the community to cover up those less profits because of the measures being taken
