It will be worth 20% of course marks.2.2 Bid opening session (presentation) Present your proposal at the bid opening session and justify your proposal (or defend) to the client as a tutorial group during the lecture in week 12. You will have 15 minutes to present your material, with 5 minutes for questions. The format needs to be a MS PowerPoint style presentation.2.2.1 Assessment This document will form part B of the Tender report, the schedule for presentations for each group will be announced duly. Statement of Work
The overall scope of work shall encompass the replacement of Darling Harbour Swing Bridge and the same shall comprise the replacement of the superstructure, replacement of the swing span, modifications with respect to substructure, overall mechanical as well as electrical overhaul, replacement of the operator house as well as the replacement of fender system. The overall work shall be delivered within a budget of AUD 32.474 Million and in the period between 11th September 2018 and 05th December 2018. The other important consideration concerning this project shall be the minimisation of construction impacts for public with all of the replacements concerning superstructure as well as swing span shall be undertaken during the ten day closure period of the bridge.
