Great Wall of Galaxies In this exercise use can use Starry Night Enthusiast™ to view an interpret the Great Wall of Galaxies. Select Favourites

 Large Scale Structure of Universe  Great Wall from the menu. The galaxies in the Great Wall will be highlighted in yellow. Keep in mind that the image is centered on the Milky Way. Use the Location Scroller (hold down the Shift key while holding down the mouse button and moving the mouse) to study this structure from different viewpoints. You will see the Great Wall of Galaxies move around the Milky Way. Study the distribution of galaxies in the Great Wall as you move it and write down an explanation of where the name “Great Wall” originates. Write down any other appropriate names that come to mind from the shape.
