Introduction
PESTLE analysis used for understanding the external marketing factors that affect a business is one of the most important tools. It gives a fair idea to the organisation about the environment they are working in and whenever they plan to launch a new product or a service. The PESTLE analysis stands for Political, Environmental, Socio Cultural, Technological, Legal, Economic factors that affect the business. The report is made with reference to a small restaurant which is a service providing restaurant. The restaurant is local and not a global chain.
Background
The restaurant was opened in the year 2016 and within the span of 2 years, the restaurant has outgrown its fame because of the food and the quickness of the service and a happy staff who serve their customers very efficiently. The restaurant owners want to expand with the distant neighbourhood and hence considering the external analysis for the expansion. The current environment is friendly and there is not much competition offering the similar experiences, but since a new expansion is being planned, a better understanding of the external environment is necessary.( Symons, M., 2014.)
