Go to your MindTap course to access the GREENR database. Starting on the home page, under “Browse Issues and Topics”, click on Energy, then select Renewable Energy. Use this portal to search for information on the renewable energy policy in Germany (you may also use the World Map). What are some of the challenges the German government is facing, and how are they being addressed? What challenges would arise if a U.S. government mandate required a similar transition to renewable energies? Write a report answering these questions and discussing the effects of the “German Experiment” on the United States as it looks to revise its energy policy and address climate change.
