Overview of Articles
The article by Morley et al. (2010) emphasized on intercultural dimension of global leadership, which is based on self-management, relationship management and perception management. On the other hand, the article by White and Shullman (2012) discussed about factors, which are responsible for leadership training at global platform. This is based on thirty years of experience, which has focused on multicultural dimensions and its awareness.
While developing and presenting global leadership training following things can be considered:
1. Objective and Goals: The training objectives should align with the organizational objectives so that employees have clear understanding of set expectations from the program. The learning will contribute in achieving these goals in the form of desired skill and implementation of it to manage the teams.
2. Multiple Delivery Modes: The training should be available on different platforms to be accessible. As the leader needs to be at forefront, so referring back to training material and applying it should be a reachable process for him. It will help to execute the strategy right from day one.
