It is advisable to create a PLAN before you write your ‘case-study response’. Do this by making notes for what you plan to write in each of the 4 sections:

1.INTRODUCTION,

2. DESCRIPTION,

3. DISCUSSION,

4. CONCLUSIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS.

Select your case-study, & then create your PLAN below.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This is the case study that the student want 2. An elderly woman named Violet Simpson, 84, was receiving treatment for angina over the course of two years. Prior to having an operation for a bunion on her big toe, she was sent for a heart scan. It was then discovered that the issue was in fact not angina, but a leaky valve. However, when requesting for it to be treated, Violet was disregarded by doctors. She said, “I asked if I could have this fixed. The attitude from doctors was: What are you bothered about, at your age?”

She eventually managed to get an appointment; “I stuck to my guns and said I wanted this job done.” But she said, “The whole experience made me feel pushed aside.”

Introduction
The advances in medical techno
logy and its growth in today's world have enhanced the population's overall health. However, gaps in health care exist and not all individuals have fair access to it. In reducing health care inequalities, understanding why these inequalities remain amid modern advances is essential (Steel et al. 2016). Violet Simpson, the case study subject, aims to clarify and understand the processes underlying the correlations.
This can be identified between the social status of population groups and their health quality, is the case plan and analysis below. It also discusses life course pathways that form and influence the chances of a person having a healthy life, along with benefits and drawbacks that can affect health from an early age to adulthood. In addition, other variables such as gender, mental illness and disability and ethnicity will also be addressed because they also contribute significantly to health disparities.
a) Overview of the Issue of Equality in Violet’s Case: Identification
At first, it is significant to note here that the provided case study exemplifies the notion of disparity and healthcare biases existing in the system; at times, these biases are too clear to avoid as they surge up directly from the reactions of the professional care providers. Violet Simpson, the subject of the case study is the woman of 84 years and it is evident by her age that she reserves the right of equality as well as dignity.
When she was examined for angina pain, it was discovered that there is something else, which has been causing her heart trouble and that is the leaked valve. Despite being panic, she responded to the course of treatment bravely and her efficacy here is as patient is commendable. However, the response that she received on behalf of the clinical experts, highlighting her ‘age’ is questionable.
Moreover, the response of the doctors was casual; the first impression of the statement that they could make justifies it. According to the doctors involved in the process of providing care, Violet should not be concerned about her illness because ‘what else could happen to her as per her age’. Perceiving the society across globe especially in the developed nations, contextual inferences can be made about the reaction of the professionals. They are supposed to provide the highest degree of care to Violet regardless of her age because at no point of course in treating her, she is supposed to realise that she is ‘pushed aside due to her age’.
b) Issue to be Resolved The Concept of Equality and Socio-Economic Perceptions
Health disparity was primarily exacerbated during the 19th century by factors such as overcrowding, inadequate access to local care facilities and poor sanitation. Nowadays these drawbacks have largely vanished in our modern society. Throughout the UK, new hospitals and treatment centres are now readily available. Yet not everyone can afford counselling. This can be demonstrated by considering the benefits that people have in higher socio-economic classes (Castro el al. 2016).
Via better education, or improved quality of care without compliance with treatment regiments such as costly medication, these advantages will lead to more awareness about their health and the care available. For example, better health care, increased details about the availability of treatments and more regular medical visits would be given to men with higher incomes and levels of education. This can translate into further screenings, such as screenings for serious problems (Hui et al. 2020).
c) Rationale for Solving the Above-mentioned Issue
If the above concept is to be applied over Violets case; her psychological status is the first point of sourcing the issues and conflicts that she might have. She belongs to the elderly community and by right of living secured to her, she is permitted to sustain her dignity and respect throughout the process of care provided to her. For Violet, it might be already not convenient to discover that the problem she faces is bigger than her...
