Further clarification of the assessment by tutor:Select policies addressing the same issue- this is a challenge to find the policy and then recognize the coverage gaps in the policy i.e. start to think about why they exist..Focus on the policy, politics and principles rather than using word limits talking about the issue itself.“Summarise the intent” does not mean reproducing the policy in dot point or in lengthy quotes. You need to demonstrate that you understand the meaning of the policy.Ideology: this section has several intentions: to help you become able to:- become familiar with and use the language (liberalism, social democratic, conservatism, left, right, centre, collectivism, individualism),-recognize which Australian political party matches with which ideology.-think about how ideology influences strategy. Demonstrate your understanding by identifying the key ideologies of the policy makers selected. Give examples of how you see this ideology born out in the intent or actions of the policies selected. Conclusion: State the outcome of your analysis and the reasons for your conclusion (without using new materials).Follow academic writing conventions:-academic tone of writing, clear expression-academic literature as sources (not just one paper)-use evidence base to support your approach.
