Senator Dudley Pompous, in an interview today: "Of course I'm going to vote for term limits. It's absolutely ridiculous that senators and representatives to Congress serve year after year after year. Some senators haven't had a new idea in their heads since 1992. We need a breath of fresh air in Washington. Term limits will encourage integrity and responsibility. If we had term limits, senators and representatives would vote their consciences, not for any bill their campaign chairperson tells them to support for reelection. And this bill is only a start. Then the Congress should take up serious campaign reform.
