Seed germination may be defined as; the procedure through which plant comes out from
seed, and initiates growth. This might be governed by a number of factors including external as
well as internal ones which can be described as follows:
External Factors:

and might lead towards bursting of seed-coat and softening of tissue because of which, embryo
