Why Donald Trump lost the election?
Donald Trump is one of the most well-known faces and names that the entire world knows however; in 2020 he lost the presidential election to Joe Biden because of some of the most significant reasons. On the other hand, he won more than 70 million votes and it is regarded as the second-highest total in the History of America (Noland & Zhang, 2021). The Election Day in 2020 and at that time almost 235,255 Americans lost their lives due to COVID-19 and it caused the sharpest macroeconomic downturn in the U.S. This situation made it extremely made it difficult for Trump for retaining the office because of popular or public opinion. From a personal point of view, I think overconfidence in Trump was one of the main element for his downfall along with it policy decision, the image of the administration in both international and domestic areas, recognition of freedoms were also some of the main reasons and this will be highlighted throughout this opinion paper.
