For thisessay, you will be choosing a visual that you want to analyze. Take a glance at this intro video to get an idea of how visuals can have meaning in multiple ways.https://youtu.be/-vJvivIzkDg.
If you want to choose a visual from the same area of interest that you have been writing all semester, you are more than welcome. If there is a visual that you feelpassionateabout and would like toanalyzeyour 3rd essay, you may do so. I will only require 1-2 outside sources for this final essay - your choiceonwhether you need 1 or 2 outside sources. The visual itself will be cited in your paper since you did not create it.
For all the semester I was writing about Diet, Health and exercise. You can choose a visual from this topicto make the slides.
Once you have decided on the visual that you want to analyze, begin to look for a scholarly source or two that you can use in your presentation. The actual finalPowerPoint presentation will be 11 slides(the first one is the title page, the last one is the Works Cited (including where you got the image), and you decide how to appropriate the other 9 for each of the following: How does your visual argue pathos? Howdoesyourvisualargue ethos? Howdoesyourvisualargue logos? Yes, all three must be included in your final PowerPoint but you decide if they are equallyrepresentedornot.
As you create your PowerPoint, you may need to look at resources on how to make your own PowerPoint inviting, creative andreader captivating. There is nothing worse than a great visual that has been explained in a boring, white background PowerPoint with inappropriately sized font, colors that do not go with the topic or each other, and too much writing on each slide.
