For this week's online activityI’d like you to think about a famous philosophical puzzle called Newcomb’s problem.While the prisoner's dilemma illustrates how critical thinking can lead to sub-optimal outcomes,Newcomb'sproblem illustrates how critical thinking can be indeterminate. That is, as you'll see, there appear to be equally powerful arguments for opposite ways of responding to the problem.
