Introduction
    Media has become an essential part of our society and has been acting as a platform, through which people of different races and ethnicities living in the society have been able to know each other. Offensive and demeaning racial stereotypes have been pervasive in media. A number of studies have been highlighting the fact that media produces content that reproduces the racial stereotypes existing in the society. People belonging to minority races and ethnicities are often overlooked and marginalized through the media. It is difficult for the people from Asian, Arab and Black races to find a respectable place for them in the content that has been broadcasted through media.
Different Stereotypes Existing in Media
Media has an essential role, when it comes to representation of different groups and reproduction of content that is a racial stereotype in one or the other way. Media has been playing an important role in the way people have known each other and their cultural backgrounds. Different forms of media such as television, newspaper, films, advertisements and even different social media platforms have been biased and unfavorable towards the racial minorities (Trebbe et al.). Certain media depictions of the Arabs, Asians, Native Americans and Latino Minorities have been quite problematic.
