Introduction
The first few months of life are the most fun and memorable time in anyone’s life. It is the time, which once gone, will never come again. Therefore, it is said time is neither a friend nor a foe. As one grows up, he starts realizing the importance of childhood. That is the time when there is no work, no worries and no anxieties. The little munchkin is free from all of the real-world constraints and need not be a participant in the race of wealth. The child, without having any understanding, enjoys all the bounties of the world. Childhood is the story that stands by itself in every soul. Thus, it is the god best gift to any individual.

During the first few months of life, one undergoes biological, cognitive and emotional development. The biological development plays a crucial role in the development of a baby. They affect children throughout critical times, such as early childhood and prenatal period. These factors include hormone levels, genetic influences and the right amount of nutrition. For example, a child will not grow tall if the right amount of nutrition is not provided. It may have the genes, but because of the lack of nutrition, its height will not grow.
As mentioned in the paper by Casey et al. (2018), cognitive development is related to the development of skills, knowledge, which help little ones to think about and understand the environment around them. The postnatal factors and language development contribute to the most in it. They are curious about things out of reach and responds to conversations by making different sounds.
