The case Helgaton Ltd: organisational theory in practice Laurie Mullins and Ian White is an empirical
investigation which analysed the different organisational parameters in depth and helped to evaluate that how the organisational theory can be practically applied by the managers in modern context. The investigation was quite detailed and it can be said that it required lot of time to go through every minute detail. The primary data was collected by managers after consistent and dedicated hard-work. It has been identified that executive level managers did not participated in the survey and only top and senior management took the survey. This reduces the qualitative impact of the same as a particular section was left. As a result biased results were used for further studies.
The questions included in the survey were open ended and close ended and were unable to justify the parameters on the basis of which the results have to be predicted. It has to be acknowledged that each response has its own value because they are representing the opinions and therefore collection of accurate data is essential.
