For this assignment, you will have the opportunity to explore Paul’s writings to discover the way he dealt with Christian life and church issues. Write a 1,000-1,250-word paper that:
- Describes of the urban life of the early Pauline churches
- Explains the social and theological issues with which these churches dealt
- Uses evidence from letters of Paul to describe significant features of urban life for the churches
- Identifies the two theological themes or issues from urban life that Paul dealt with in his letters. Then analyze the selected themes or issues that Paul dealt with in his letters. Focus on how Paul dealt with these issues on the basis of his theological convictions, particularly his understanding of the significance of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Do not use the example themes provided in the lecture.
Support your position by referencing at least three academic resources (preferably from the GCU Library and the textbook) in addition to the Bible. Incorporate the research into your writing in an appropriate, scholarly manner.
