Software design documentation can be defined as the description of software created to facilitate analysis, planning , implementation and decision-making.
In this documentation, we have discussed the implementation of a software called EPIC to the hospital. We have also discussed the two different strategies for the selection of the design.
Overview :
System design is a process of planning a new business system or replacing an existing system by defining its component or modules to satisfy the specific requirements. Before planning, we should need to understand the old system properly and determine how other systems can best be used in order to operate efficiently.
In our case we will see how the EPIC software replaced the old paper pen work smartly from the healthcare sector and made it more fast and reliable for doctors as well as for the patients to see their whole medical record in a single click.
