Identify the type of business you visited and document as many crime prevention strategies as you can recall. How did the business “target harden” or otherwise deter would-be offenders?

Analyze the business from the perspective of at least two different victimization or situational crime prevention theories. For example, if you select routine activities theory, how do your observations align with the framework of offender motivation, target suitability, and capable guardianship?

Drawing on this week’s material, conclude with ideas for additional steps that the business might take to defend itself against crime.

A small ERP solution developer named ‘AllinOne Ltd’ is selected for the current study. The business is around 2miles away from my place. The company is operating their business since 2017 and as per their records it is found that have more than 350 clients and provided more than 2,000 ERP solutions.
For an IT company crime can take place from both areas, online medium and physical. An investigation on the documents related to crime prevention strategy has been made to identify various crime prevention strategies taken into account of ‘AllinOne Ltd’.
Some of the most common crime takes place in a corporate office are stealing of the company’s assets, damaging assets, violating company’s policy, using lethal item to hurt others, fraud, and bribery (Vadera & Pratt, 2013). Some of the physical or offline crime prevention strategies taken up the management team are listed in the following part:
· Target hardening is one of the strategies taken into account by the management team of AllinOne Ltd. The company use advanced door locks for the rooms in which confidential information are stored (Hesterman, 2018). The company also fitted some sash jammers so that windows of the building get jammed.
· In addition to this, the company use bio-metric technology for providing access to each employee into their computers and network
· The company also have a crime prevention strategy in which they are very focused on removing all the crime potential items from their work environment like ladder, bricks and so on.
IT firms also face online crime and piracy is one of the most popular crime takes place in the context. To prevent piracy the company have designed some strategies.
