For the final paper, you are to write a 1,500-2,000 word argumentative essay. Your paper should contain three parts: intro, body, and conclusion. In your intro, which should only be one or two paragraphs long, you should state the main thesis you will be defending. Your body paragraphs (about 5-7 full paragraphs) should contain the reasons, evidence, and arguments in favor of your main thesis. Your conclusion, which should just be a single paragraph, should briefly summarize what you take yourself to have shown in your paper.You may write your paper on basically any ethical issue you want (it doesn’t have to be something we discussed in class), but keep in mind that you should aim to make a small and modest point in your paper.
