    To understand the American Native Cultu
re, it is important to look closely into the distinct characteristics of a single cultural aspect. The Northwest Coast Cultural area as an example sheds light on how the community grew as people built houses in villages that led to the building of a community. This assignment has been designed in a manner to shed light on the architecture, music and literature and how it strived in the developing of the community. This will also tend to delve into the thought process of the people, who had been instrumental in developing it and thereby contributing to the culture.
Discussion
    The Northwest Coast culture area existed at the Pacific coast stretching from the British Columbia, which happens to stay at the top of Northern California. It is important to gain an understanding of the matters that determines the culture and how it has been brimming from the social phenomenon. There are attributes, which shows the ethos of the age. The phenomenology can be conceived through the cultural aspects have been observed respectively in accordance to their characteristics
Architecture
    The tribes pertaining to the Northwest Coast were believed to be the first ones who were considered to the first amongst the American Indians to master their skills of metal craft (Green). They were held to be the ones to erect such hugely built structures, which were tomb-like structures and stood in front of their houses. This metal was used skilfully by the artists who go by the name of Haida and Tlingit who were held to be of high regards. They popularized the Tsimshian house, which were present in large numbers. These had planks made on horizontal wall which were very closely fitted in the wall posts which were grooved. Now their great artistry could be explored through the framework pertaining to the shalifshedroof house (Caroline). They had structural pair of poles, which were intermittently tied in the place.
