Labrador Retreivers come in three main colors: yellow, black, and chocolate brown. THe black color is dominant (BB). Yellow (ee) and brown (bb) are both recessive. However, yellow is recessive epistatic. This means that yellow will mask both brown and black colors. Based on this information what color will a labrador be if the genotype is (BBee)?

I dont understand what epistatic means and how to judge the genotype, help would really be appreciated
