For a sample of 20 recently graduated students planning to go into a master’s degree program, data have been gathered on overall undergraduate GPA, average number of hours worked each week during the school year, and Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) score (a measure of preparedness for graduate-level work). Using the techniques presented in Chapter 14, test the hypothesis that GPA will decrease with hours worked and increase with GRE score, but hours worked will have the strongest effect.
