Following are observed frequencies. The null hypothesis is H0: p1=0.5, p2= 0.10, p3= 0.10, p4=0.15, p5=0.15
test the hypothesis that the distribution of the observed frequencies is as given by the null hypothesis. Use the 0.025 level of significance and the P-value method with the TI-84 Plus calculator.
(a) State the null and alternate hypotheses.
(b) Find the P-value. Round the answer to at least four decimal places.
(c) Determine whether to reject H0.
(d) State a conclusion.
