Colonization is a process wherein the humans disperse from their original location and establish themselves in the new area and rebaited themselves and form a designated area for themselves. Colonization can also be termed as foreign inhabitants come and establish themselves in the territory of others and this geographical location can be termed as colonies. The main 4 stages of colonization is to recon, then to form invasion, then to occupy and then finally assimilate. The primary reason for colonization could be to be close to the god or to earn gold or glory. Colonization is important because that brings in people from a particular location together in a foreign land and to make the colonies look like their own land. One of the longest colonies in the world was in Philippines which was under the rule of Spanish for over 333 years.
Literature of witness potentially changes the outlook of people towards the society and has potential impact on the lives of the people. Literature of witness requires raising of consciousness of the human thinking. Alvar Nunez de Vaca’s accounts can be considered as literature of witness because the literature he was able to study the direct experience in a hermeneutic loop and see the study that was superlative. The difference between Puritans and Pilgrims is that Puritans reformed the church of England and pilgrims rejected the church of England.
