FOCUS ON WRITING. Since technical communication must be as concise and clear as possible, avoid using clichés in your writing. As a class, create a list of clichés and then rewrite the clichés in clear, conventional language. Some examples you can try are last but not least, you’re on the right track, we’re in hot water, or clear as a bell.
