First Thread:
First we need to decide if the action of moving is arbitrary or capricious. Does moving single out a group? I think it does because now were moving the company to country whom is less fortunate just because we want more profits. This action violates moral and legal rights of the individuals that will be working. They will probably not be treated fairly. I think the company should stay in the US. Being ethical will allow the company to keep a positive corporate image. It will allow the shareholders to gain our loyalty and respect. In the end the stakeholders are whom we should be worried about. If we keep the shareholders happy we will maximize wealth. I think the shareholders would agree to keep the firm in Lousiana because it is ethical to think of others. In my opinion how are we so sure the company will do well in another country? I think its best to find ways to do better here in the US. I also think that we would deal with privacy issues if we move to India. These privacy concerns are respected in the US I dont think its the same over sees. Many people will loose jobs in the US with is also and ethical concern.
