ta is considered one of the great epics of ancient India which contains a rich tradition and mythos about the conflict between the Gods and the Demons. This research essay discuss the source of conflict between the two groups. Moreover, the essay will also analyze the values or beliefs of the demons and the Gods. Additionally, the paper will also explain the purpose of the story and key learning from this.
Discussion
According to the Mahabharata, the good as well as the demons both desired the elixir of immortality, which was hidden deep in the ocean. Both the groups such as: the Gods and Demons agreed to churn the ocean together to get it. Both they argued over who would get to keep it. It is also analyzed that, the churning produced a number of items like poison which defenseless to finish the world. And, both the demons and gods worked closely together to contain the position, but in the end of the story, the Gods prevailed to got to keep the elixir (Rodrigues, 2016).
