The Selected Policy: The Convention of the Right of the Child 1989
The selected policy is Convention of the Right of the Child 1989 were most nations in the world have ratified the CRC, which is a landmark human rights treatise. Only two governments have not done so. Children's moral, constitutional, geopolitical, financial, social, and cultural rights are all included in the Protocol (Simon, Luetzow & Conte, 2020).
Following the adoption of the Convention of the Right of the Child 1989 on November 20, 1989, the United Nations General Assembly ratified the treaty in September of the following year. In 41 articles, the Protocol emphasises the interests of people under the age of 18 that should be recognised and safeguarded.
