Psychology is that branch of behavioral science, which helps to study human behavior and their mental processes. The modern theories and practices are helping people to cope with emotional issues and protect themselves from any kind of physical harm (Pantsar, 2021). It also helps them to get equip with strategies to handle psychological issues on day-to-day basis. These issues can be related to relationships, workplace, financial challenges or stress.

Nature vs. Nurture always involves psychologists in a debate because one represents genetic behavior and the latter one represents acquired behavior. Psychology helps in quantifying these terms and relates them to psychological traits. Over the time, the interaction between two concepts is a new interest among experts, which also prefer to study it qualitative aspect (Bates et al., 2018). Nature is dependent on inheritance and biological factors whereas nurture is influenced by external factors after the conception.

Nature is a genetic trait, which is inherited by a person from his or her parents. The different temperaments in siblings or level of self-confidence, being extrovert or introvert can be related to it. Even is a member of the family is deceased then also it can be predicted why a child behaves in a particular behavior or the deceased has influence over the behavior of the child or not. Sir Francis Galton made huge contribution in the study of nature and illuminated the world with his findings (Kong et al., 2018).

Nurture consists of environmental factor that influences individuals. These factors can be culture, beliefs, society in which an individual is living, parents and their parenting style, family and its size, peers, friends, language, education and much more. It includes Behavior Theory by John Watson and Social Learning theory by Albert Bandura, which helps to understand nurture in depth (Sanchez, Liu, Zhou & Hildebrandt, 2021). The environmental factors which influences growth and condition the behavior leads to application of nurture in development of humans.
