    Both student and expert reports recognised that Paul requires assistance with ADLs since he is suffering from vision impairment. In addition, his passion for the Aboriginal community and his identity were denied when he visited the hospital, which was also stated in both the reports. Past experiences of denial and lack of trust in the hospital might prevent Paul from seeking health care.
Regarding to Paul’s general health, both responses suggested the review and follow up of his Hepatitis C and Diabetes, as Hepatic C can affect his depression as well as diabetes can worsen his vision impairment.
    The student omitted to mention the connection to the country, whereas the expert discussed it in detail. The connection to the country is important to Aboriginal people, which may bring possible outcome if this aspect of culture is considered. The country represents their families, their culture and their identity. Therefore, the connection to country is very important to build up a therapeutic relationship with Aboriginal people. However, the student’s report mentioned that care should also focus on Paul’s alcohol addiction. Alcohol consumption can harm the mental and physical health of all people.
    2, Develop a person-centred, culturally appropriate care plan resulting from the health issues identified in the concept map
    Both reports highlighted the similar person-centred goal to ensure that Paul can maintain a connection with his community. This helps to reduce social isolation, depression and enhances his quality of life. Transport assistance and attending community groups are the interventions. This is because Paul’s Vision impairment affects his independency in transport.
Discussion on the issues related to medication administration, both responses states that correct information should be provided to ensure Paul is taking medication and eye drops properly.
