Figure 23 shows a network of nodes. Any sequence of activities that takes a flow of one unit from node 1 to node 6 will produce a widget. For example, one unit flowing from node 1 to node 4 to node 6 would create a widget. Other paths are possible. Quantities given are numbers of widgets per day. (a) How many widgets could be produced in one day? (b) Suppose we want to ensure that no more than 100 widgets are processed along any of the arcs in the production facility. How many widgets are now possible?
