I. Introduction
a) Company/Organization/Project
I have chosen ‘ABC cars’ who are into car rental business and the main business
proposition is that of supplying the product i.e., car, to the customer and not on the services
through which they will offer their services to the customer. This means the business model is
completely dependent on the customer base which is critical for the revenue and profitability
within their target business market. On the outset of Globalization, it has resulted in several
local and global players as their competitors including the entry of established and big brands
that are quite advanced in technology solutions to enable the customer even more.
b) Existing System/Scenario
The overall organization system of ‘ABC Cars’ is weak as not only they lack on the
technological front because they still use traditional way to get connected to the target
customer i.e. telephones to receive the calls of the customer who needs their services. Their
employees can best be classified as laggards who primarily focus on providing only that services
which the customer request for and don’t take any extra pain/initiative to attract customers
towards their other services including showcasing their competitive advantage. For example,
they charge a bit less than the competition however to a customer who wants to travel for only
a short period of time, it may not be making any difference at all; For people who are interested
in hiring a cab for long journey this will definitely become the most important differentiator

though. Their way of advertisement is also not worthy enough to attract the target customer as
the organization mainly focuses upon newspaper advertisement in an era where internet has
replaced every platform available for marketing purposes across each and every field. It is not
wrong of any organization to stick to their roots so that customer receives the same level of
satisfaction that they associate with the brand or expect from the brand but that doesn’t mean
it will hold all those customers only on the product or service quality that they offer.
No doubt that the quality of product and services of any organization plays a vital role but due
to increase in number of competition it is hard for organizations to pitch their product without
changing or adopting the current format as others who are into this business are well equipped
with the advance technology or are trying to inherit the change management into their
organizational culture. So, to compete effectively and efficiently and to hold a strong position in
the market so as to earn more revenue, profitability and a higher customer base it is very
important for the organization to work upon their weakness by adapting the change.
c) Current Problem/Issue

even try to adapt necessary changes which may not only increase the quality of their...
