Fearful that the increase in power gained by the engine in Example Problem 11 will structurally damage the engine, it is decided to use only half the amount of nitrous oxide, i.e., 5 kgmole N2O of for each kgmole C8H18. of Thermal efficiency, and temperatures into and out off the cylinders are the same. Using the method of Example Problem 11, approximate the percentage increase in power gained by using this amount of nitrous oxide.
