You work for a Schedule II bank that operates in Toronto. There is only one branch in operation at the moment but your bank is planning to expand in the coming months. Currently, there are 28 employees and you have just been brought on as the Policies & Procedures Analyst. Your job is to write all new policies and procedures and modify those that are in existence to cater for the requirement in Canada. You have a support team of 2.
Individual submission
Based on new found knowledge of the Compliant Handling process of a Federal Bank as required by FCAC, utilise the seven steps basic writing format and draft an internal policy/procedure for this guideline. (25%)
Since this policy has impact on all employees of your organization , you are required to officially launch the policy in explaining its importance .
Group submisson
Develop a Power point presentation (no more than 10 slides) in reviewing and explaining the following information (8%)
- Objective of new policy/procedure
- Impact of the new policy/procedure
Group submission
In order to expand your department and justify your expenses in this small scale operation, you must be able to identify success.
What system can you put in place to measure compliance (success) and improve upon the success of your training system? (4%)
Last but not least, how are you going to prepare your organization for the upcoming changes? (3%)
Your deliverables must include the following documents
1. New policies & procedures (Individual submission)
2. Description of Training and Implementation
3. Power point presentation (Please print power point notes for the submission)
