Parents profoundly influence children. From birth to many years, the adults with whom the
children are in most contact are the parents. The bonding with parents in the formative years
makes their teachings, messages and communication have a lifelong impact on children. The
manner in which the parents socialize children depends primarily on the social class to which the
parents belong and the biological sex of the parents. Researches have shown that the way
working class and middle class parents socialize differs largely from the affluent class. For
instance, the working class people usually work in factories and do not have autonomy in
