Hey Class! Want some extra credit? Halloween has been a tradition around the world for many years and music of the baroque, classical, and romantic periods has been used to represent this time of year. For example, the silent movie "Nosferatu" (the original Dracula movie) had an original score that an orchestra would play while the movie was screened. The score was lost and the music traditionally that has been used for the screening is the "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" by J.S. Bach. Here is the video I found on YouTube.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXHrHS8LukM&list=PLBeCeDXhVBXYFwe47kK6XoHQBssvWYXmq&index=1
For the extra credit portion of this assignment, find an example of music that has been used for either scary movies or Halloween and post it here! I will compile a YouTubeplaylistthat I will share with all of you after the deadline of November 1, 2020. Have some fun with this post!
